The programme is designed to sit alongside existing care, at any point after diagnosis.

Suitable for adults who

  • are 18 or over and live in the UK
  • have a formal diagnosis of both autism and ADHD, recent or not
  • would benefit from structured, peer-based support after diagnosis
  • can attend most sessions (missing no more than three of the twelve)

Not suitable for adults who

  • are currently in crisis or at risk of harm
  • need one-to-one therapy rather than a group format
  • have only one of the two diagnoses, or are self-identifying without a formal diagnosis
  • are under 18 or live outside the UK

How referral works

Patients register themselves, so there are no forms for you to complete.

  1. 1Share the leaflet or our websiteGive your patient the printed leaflet, or point them to audhdhealth.com. The leaflet’s QR code takes them straight there.
  2. 2Your patient registers their interestIt’s free and doesn’t commit them to anything. The form asks whether a clinician referred them.
  3. 3We hold a welcome callWe answer their questions, check the group is a safe fit and confirm their diagnosis. If it isn’t right for them, we signpost them back to you or their GP.
  4. 4They join the next groupOnce their place is confirmed and paid for, they’re onboarded, sign the group agreement and join on Zoom.

With your patient’s written consent, we’ll let you know when they’ve joined and when they’ve completed the programme.

Clinical governance

How we keep participants safe, and how the programme is overseen.

  • Safeguarding

We have a dedicated safeguarding lead, Emma Stell, Registered Nurse (NMC), to protect any clients at risk of harm.

  • Risk and escalation

We collect an emergency contact and GP details for every participant. Our safeguarding lead follows up on all reports of risk using our safeguarding policy.

  • DBS checks

All facilitators are DBS checked and registered.

  • Records and data

Records and session notes are held on Zanda, a clinical practice management system. ICO registered, ZC250726.

  • Complaints

For complaints or concerns, please email emma@audhdhealth.com.

Scope of the programme

The Landing Pad is a psychoeducation, coaching and nervous system regulation programme. It is not therapy, a crisis service or a substitute for clinical care. Every participant signs an agreement confirming they understand this.

What the programme draws on

The Landing Pad has been developed drawing on NICE guidance on autism in adults (CG142) and ADHD (NG87), specifically on psychoeducation; neurodiversity-affirming frameworks; regulation and interoception research; and Dawson and Guare’s model of executive function skills, adapted for AuDHD Health through our neurodivergent team’s extensive experience.
