1. Who We Are
AuDHD Health Ltd ("we", "us", "our") provides a psychoeducation, executive function and nervous system regulation programme for neurodivergent adults. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you take part in the programme.
2. What Information We Collect
- Contact details (name, email address) provided by you at sign-up
- Information relating to your health and neurodivergence (special category data), where you choose to share this at intake or during sessions
- Attendance and participation records
- Emergency contact and GP details, collected at intake, for use only in the circumstances described in Section 5
3. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver psychoeducation sessions, executive function skills training and your personalised toolkit for life
- To keep you safe, including under our safeguarding procedures where necessary (see Section 5)
4. Our Legal Basis for Processing
We rely on your explicit consent to process information about your health and neurodivergence, which you give at intake and can withdraw at any time by contacting us. Where we need to act to protect your life or safety in an emergency, we rely on the "vital interests" basis under UK GDPR, as described below. This does not require your consent at that moment.
5. Safeguarding: When We May Share Information Without Your Consent
Your privacy matters to us, and in almost all circumstances information you share in sessions stays confidential. There is one important exception: if a facilitator believes you are at imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or others, we have a legal and ethical duty of care that comes before confidentiality.
In this situation, we may contact emergency services, your registered GP, or your nominated next of kin, without asking your permission first, in order to keep you safe. This is a standard safeguarding practice used across health and care services, and we will always aim to be open with you about this happening, wherever it's safe to do so.
Outside of this kind of emergency, what you share in sessions stays confidential and is not shared with anyone outside the team supporting your programme.
6. Who We Share Information With
- The registered psychotherapist facilitating your sessions
- The professional coaches facilitating the skills sessions
- The lead of our autonomic regulation pillar delivering meditation and breathing techniques classes
- In a safeguarding emergency only: emergency services, your GP, or your nominated next of kin
- Service providers who help us run the programme securely (for example, video conferencing platforms), who are bound by data protection agreements
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Intake and cohort matching data: kept for the duration of the programme plus 12 months, then deleted or anonymised
- Safeguarding records: kept for 7 years, in line with standard clinical record-keeping practice
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.
9. Contact Us & Complaints
If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, please contact AuDHD Health Ltd. If you are unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
