How understanding helps
- Make sense of your experiences through a neuro-affirming lens
- Reduce self-blame and build self-compassion
- Find words to explain your needs to others
How the toolkit helps
- Practical ways to start tasks and follow through
- Tools for overwhelm in the moment
- Routines that last, without relying on willpower
How regulation helps
- Grounding and breathing techniques you can use anywhere
- Spot early signs of overwhelm or shutdown
- A gentler relationship with rest and recovery

Who it’s for
This is for you if
- You’re an adult (18+) living in the UK
- You have a formal diagnosis of both autism and ADHD, whether it was months or years ago
- You want structured, peer-based support alongside any care you already have
- You can attend at least 9 of the 12 sessions
It might not be right for you if
- You’re currently in crisis or at risk of harm. Please contact 999, your GP, or Samaritans (116 123, free, 24/7) instead
- You’re looking for one-to-one therapy rather than a group
- You don’t have a formal diagnosis yet. We can’t accept self-identifying adults at present, because we measure outcomes for people with a formal diagnosis
- You’re under 18
Keeping the group safe
Everyone in the group goes through the same steps before the programme begins.
-
Group agreement
Everyone signs a confidentiality agreement before the programme begins.
-
Welcome call
A short call with everyone before they join, to check together that the group is a safe fit.
-
Emergency contact
We ask for an emergency contact and your GP details as standard, in case they’re ever needed.
-
Secure records
All documents and session notes are held securely on Zanda, a clinical records system.
Your privacy
Sessions are live and never recorded. If you miss one, we’ll email you summary notes and resources. You can miss up to 3 of the 12 sessions and stay enrolled.
This isn’t therapy or a crisis service
The Landing Pad is a psychoeducation, coaching and regulation programme. It isn’t a substitute for therapy, medical care or mental health treatment, and you’re welcome to join alongside your own therapist.
